Dust Catcher is a magazine about contemporary character design, illustration and collectibles. Through interviews, the magazine takes a look the creators’ favorite makers, ranging from illustrators and painters to sculptors, toy designers and manufacturers. Conception, design and realisation by Joe Leiner with help from contributors Johan Faes, Chongbin Nie, and Isaac Parra.
alfa, beta, super is the result of my Master studies in Visual Communication at the University of Bergen, Norway. The project is aimed at helping children with dyslexia overcome their learning difficulties, motivational struggles and fear of letters by introducing them to the alphabet at an early stage. The playset consists of different media such as a colouring book, a set of puzzles, and an instructional book for the parents.
Website design and development for David Ebner, a German artist and study friend. Featuring an extended catalogue of works and exhibitions, the monochromatic and minimalist design is loosened up by randomly placed images that visitors can move around.
Posters from various commercial and personal projects. Included are posters for exhibitions, as well as a one-month challenge where I did one poster per day.
Identity for the MFA exhibition at Bergen Kunsthall. The project includes various posters and advertisements, as well as an exhibition catalogue made out of different paper formats and posters from each participating artist.
